To update your profile, click on "My Profile" under "My Menu." Be sure to save your changes at the bottom of the screen when you're done. Try to put your best foot forward with at least one photo and snappy, detailed essays about your interests. The photo is key since most people feel more comfortable writing to members they can see. Try to stay positive in your essays and let the real you shine. |
| You can turn tooltips either on or off through the "My Profile" page under "My Menu." In the "Settings and Options" section, you will find a field named "Enable Tooltips". Turning this field to 'No' will disable tooltips where as turning it to 'Yes' will enable them. |
| You can suspend your membership by clicking “Suspend” in the Member Info panel located in the upper right hand side of your Profile Home.
Once you would like to re-activate your account you can simply click “Explanation” next to Suspend in the Member Info panel located in your Profile Home. On the Explanation window click on the word “here” to bring you to the re-activation screen. Simply click on “Activate account” to re-activate your account. |
| You can change your email address on the "My Profile" page in the Member Menu under "Contact Information". Here you can change some other information including search preferences, address and other preferences about your daily routines, habits, hobbies etc. After you've made your changes, click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page to save. |
| When a member sends you a note, it goes straight into your onsite message Inbox. We then send an email to your personal email address to let you know that it's there.
To read the note, simply login to the site and go to your Inbox on the My Mailbox page of your Member Menu. Or you can click on the 'go to inbox' link next to Messages at the top of your pages. If you decide to write back, simply click "reply", write your own message and send away. Your message will go straight into the member's onsite Inbox, and we'll let them know it's there with an email to their personal email address. All communications with other members stay onsite so that you never have to give out any personal information until you feel completely ready. Then when you are, you can exchange phone numbers and even meet in person. |
| If you would like to keep someone from being able to send you messages, you must go to their profile and click on "Block Member" under "Member Menu."
To remove a person from the block list, go to "My Stats" under "My Menu" and in the 'Blocked Members' section, check the user you would like to remove from the Block List and click on "Unblock." You may also report someone if they have been spamming (sending repeated messages or advertisements). See: "How do I report spam?" |

| Statistics show that it is up to 20 times more likely that a profile will be viewed by another member if you have a photo uploaded. Most members do not even search profiles that do not have a picture. If you do not upload any photos there is a good chance that your entire profile will be missed. |
| You can search for other members by clicking on 'Search' in the top menus. When searching for other members you can either do a quick search based off of zip code, gender, and age or you can do an advanced search based off of their specific profile information. The search results will be sorted by how much of a match they are with your profile. |

| You will never be billed unless you choose to purchase time as a Premium member. When your Premium membership runs out your membership level will automatically change to Standard. You will only be billed for your purchase of Premium membership. Once your membership runs out, if you did not select reoccurring billing, then your status will change back to Standard and you will not be billed any longer. For members who have received a Promotional membership your membership will also turn into Standard once the Promotional membership has run out of time. As a Promotional member you will not be billed for use of our services. |
